Sunsets have always been my favourite part of the day. I love watching the sky slowly transform from bright oranges to deep blues and purples. It is a reminder for all beings to relax after a hard-working day.
A few days ago, I saw some ants descend to their anthills from a tree after a long day of work. The sun was setting beautifully on the other side of the tree. It was an amazing sight to witness, as the orange and yellow hues of the sky shone down on the small creatures and illuminated the entire tree.
It was an ideal opportunity for a silhouette photo. However, the sun had already started to dip below the horizon, so the light was fading quickly. I had to work quickly to get the shot I wanted, but the angle of the sun meant that I couldn't capture the sun within the frame. Having missed the shot I had envisioned, I was pretty upset.
The next day, I positioned myself at the right time and captured this beautiful moment.
